Key takeaways

• Skokie is part of CCC’s service area, served from the Des Plaines showroom and warehouse.
• One stocked style can cover kitchens, laundry rooms, vanities and break rooms.
• Construction is the same on every style: plywood boxes, birch face frames, dovetail drawers, soft-close hardware.
• CCC sells to the trade; Skokie homeowners buy through their contractor or designer.

What CCC cabinets are made of

• 1/2-inch A-grade plywood box sides with wood veneer and a 1/2-inch plywood back.
• 3/4-inch A-grade plywood adjustable shelves.
• 3/4-inch birch face frames, full overlay doors and MDF door center panels.
• 17 mm solid wood dovetail drawers on full-extension soft-close glides.
• 6-way adjustable soft-close hinges.

Painted doors use MDF center panels because they stay smooth and stable; our door core guide explains why.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a cabinet supplier near Skokie?

CCC Cabinets serves Skokie from its showroom and stocking warehouse at 2180 S Wolf Rd in Des Plaines, near O’Hare. It keeps 15 door styles in stock for kitchens and bathroom vanities, with warehouse pickup or jobsite delivery on its own trucks.

What cabinets work for a laundry room?

Plywood-box base and wall cabinets with a counter for folding work well. Leave clearance for appliance doors and lids, keep cabinets clear of dryer heat, add a sink base if there is a utility sink, and match the kitchen style for a consistent house.

Does CCC Cabinets make custom cabinets?

No. CCC is a stocking wholesaler, not a custom shop, so it does not design or build cabinets to order. Its 15 styles come in standard sizes that fit most kitchens and laundry rooms with fillers and panels, and modifications are available for a fee.

How fast can I get cabinets for a Skokie job?

In-stock orders placed before early afternoon are usually ready for same-day pickup in Des Plaines. Delivery is scheduled with a call the business day before, and ready-to-assemble orders are generally ready sooner than assembled ones; confirm timing when ordering.

Can Skokie homeowners buy directly from CCC?

CCC Cabinets sells to the trade only, so homeowners buy through their contractor or designer, who orders on a CCC trade account. Homeowners are welcome to visit the Des Plaines showroom with them to choose a style.

What warranty comes with CCC cabinets?

A 5-year limited warranty on defects in material and workmanship and a 2-year limited warranty on painted finishes, with proof of purchase. It is not transferable and excludes misuse, improper installation, modification and excessive moisture or temperature.
